Travel, lodging, and who pays

A local Austin date and a destination date are different jobs. Ask who books flights, who books the hotel, whether a rental car is required, and when those costs are due. Some weekends need a night before for a welcome dinner. Some need a morning after if the last dance runs late and the airport is far.

Write the venue city first, then the nearest airport, then whether the ceremony and reception share a property. Multi-location days (French Quarter plus Southern Oaks, church plus The Driskill, lodge plus a ridge) change the vehicle and the staffing.

Film versus digital, turnaround, and a second shooter

Ask when you get a short edit and when you get the finished film. Ask what the finished film length is, whether raw footage is part of delivery, and how music is licensed. Ask whether a second shooter is needed for a mandap morning, a separate getting-ready house, or a mountain hike before vows.
