Barn, pond, and grove less than 20 minutes from downtown Austin
The Addison Grove wedding videographer
The Addison Grove gives you a big barn, a pond, and a grove of trees less than 20 minutes from downtown Austin. I've filmed five weddings here, and every one of them had its own personality.
The venue
A 6,000 square foot rustic modern barn with grand chandeliers, exposed beams, and rolling glass doors, plus a covered patio and a pond for ceremonies and cocktail hour.
Films I've made here
Mackenzie and Blayne on New Year's Eve, John and Anna, Evan and Megan, Tori and Jesse, and Inessa and Jason's Jewish wedding.
Mackenzie and Blayne's New Year's Eve
The film at the top of this page is Mackenzie and Blayne. They were married at The Addison Grove on New Year's Eve, and the whole night was a candlelit affair well after the sun had set. It finished with a fireworks show and an exit to be remembered.
A winter wedding feels cozy in a way a summer one doesn't. One of my favorite shots from that film is the pond on the property under a night sky, perfectly still, with the tree line reflected in it.
First looks and happy tears
I have never seen a bridal party so filled with joy and laughter as John and Anna's. They radiate pure happiness, and you can see it the moment John sees his bride for the first time. It's beautiful.
Evan and Megan's film has a moment like that too. When Evan sees Megan for the first time, you can see the love in his eyes, and even his brother can't hold back tears. That wedding was the start of my 2021 wedding year, and I couldn't have asked for a better one.
Tori and Jesse, and Inessa and Jason
Tori and Jesse had to push back their wedding so many times because of everything that happened in 2020. When their spring wedding finally came, it was worth the wait. Their family is growing, and they built their whole celebration with God at the center of their love.
Inessa and Jason's Jewish wedding filled the barn with dancing, including the moment the two of them were lifted up in chairs above the crowd.
Filming at The Addison Grove
The property has several spots for a ceremony, a cocktail hour, and a reception, and the barn and covered patio give you a built in plan B if the weather turns. That gives me room to film your ceremony outside and still have a beautiful space for toasts and dancing.
I'm based in Hutto, so The Addison Grove is an easy drive for me. If it's on your list, send me your date through the contact page, and see more of my local films on my Austin wedding videographer page.
