A Disney Wedding Pavilion Film in Orlando

Disney's Wedding Pavilion sits on its own island off the Grand Floridian. White arches. A window aimed at Cinderella Castle. Lillian calls it the most beautiful ceremony site she has ever seen. The film agrees. It is a guest film, not an official Disney videographer slot, made by someone who got to be in the room.

Adam Grumbo Wedding Films is an Austin studio. Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio stay on the calendar. Orlando is the destination version of the same brief. Arrive early. Learn the light off the lagoon. Let the pavilion take half the frame.

The banner is the outside of that room at dusk. Two people on the walk. Palms. Warm light in the arches. The building is the other character.

Inside, the kiss happens in front of the window the chapel was built around. Lace sleeves. A teal suit. The officiant holds the book and stays out of the way.

First kiss at the altar. The window does the rest.

That window is not decoration. It is a sightline. Through the glass, past the trees, the castle sits on the far side of the water. The pavilion was pointed at it on purpose.

Pull back and the hotel does the same job the chapel does. Grand Floridian: white wings, red roofs, palms in front of the porch. Destination work from Austin looks like this when the land is a resort instead of a ranch.

The lagoon is the other landscape. A fountain throwing white water, palms on the far shore, a path in the trees. Florida is humid and bright. The film keeps both.

The day starts smaller than a castle. A floral robe. A crystal tiara already in. She looks at camera like the dress is still on the hanger.

Then the bouquet. Dusty pink roses, white blooms, a little lavender, dark leaves. Hands under the stems. Detail work a destination film owes the people who hired it.

Disney leaves hardware in the room. A maroon book with gold type: Once Upon a Time. A castle painted on the cover. If you skip the prop you skip the brief.

She did not pack glass slippers. White glitter sneakers, satin ribbon for laces, the bouquet soft at the edge. The reception will need those.

Then the house gag that only this venue can pull. Mickey and Minnie walk the floor. White gloves in the foreground. A red polka dot skirt. The couple gasps like nobody warned them.
