Corey and Emily’s Vintage 16mm Wedding at Red Berry Estate in San Antonio
The lawn at Red Berry Estate stops at the water. Two fountains work the lake. Corey and Emily were married on a white platform under a square of white flowers, with San Antonio just beyond the trees and a vintage 16mm texture on the day. The film is the lakeside vows, the candle room, and a couple who grew up together and still chose this exact lawn.

That is the scale of this place. Grass, water, a chandelier hanging inside the flowers.

Before anyone sits, the set is already finished. White Chiavari chairs in rows. A low run of white flowers along the aisle. A black iron fence, then the lake, then two fountains throwing water into a pale sky. The arch is a dense cube of white blooms on a clean platform. Red Berry Estate does not hide that it is a luxury lawn. It puts the ceremony on the water on purpose.

Inside the mansion the light drops. Dark wood, a multi-pane window, framed clippings on the wall, a horse sculpture on a carved cabinet. Corey, in a white shirt and black suspenders, works the collar. The jacket waits on a rack. Vintage 16mm likes rooms like this because the grain has somewhere to sit.

From the air the estate reads as a whole property, not a single altar. Stone mansion with brown gables and a green roof section. White paths through the lawn. A pier into the lake. Guests in a curve of white chairs. Bridesmaids in long black gowns, groomsmen in black, the floral square parked at the water. San Antonio has other pretty venues. This one is the lake and the house in the same frame.

Emily takes the aisle. The train is long enough that the drone can still find it. White chairs split around a pale runner. The mansion holds the right side of the shot. The dock holds the left. Nobody in this frame is rushing.

On the ground the dress does the work. Voluminous ruffles, brown hair half up, Corey in a black tuxedo and bow tie on the platform, hands slightly open. White roses packed so tight the arch looks built, not arranged. The white wall behind him keeps the lake from stealing the vows.

The party lines up. About nine black dresses on one side, nine black tuxedos on the other. Guests fill two wide arcs of chairs. Officiant in the middle. The film lets this beat stay wide because the lawn is the point as much as the faces. In the audio they talk like people who already know the ending. The covenant is named with God as witness. Emily, from the beginning, you have always been there. Corey, it feels impossible to describe the joy. They grew up together. One of them says the other makes them feel at home. They promise to keep pursuing the Lord together and to choose each other for the rest of their lives. Then they are pronounced husband and wife.

Close enough to see the work. Officiant with gray hair, black tuxedo, open folder. Emily from behind, strapless gown, pearl and gold in the hair, sheer veil. Corey facing her, dark hair, white pocket square, a lapel mic, a real smile. White roses and orchids sit between the words and the camera.

After the lawn, the courtyard. Circular stone with a green grid, a tiered fountain ringed in white flowers, palms by the entrance, a timber pavilion that looks like a band is in it. Guests in black tuxedos and dark gowns take the cocktail tables. Golden hour hits the gables. This is still Red Berry Estate, just the house side of the lake.

Night goes indoors. Draped walls. Black Chiavari chairs. White hydrangeas and a black runner on a long table. Round tables with tall silver candelabras. A black dance floor with a white floral graphic in the corner. The room is candle first, overhead last. Vintage 16mm is greedy for that kind of warmth.

The cake is three white tiers with piped lace, set in front of shelves packed with candles in glass. Chairs blur in the foreground. The wall glows. You do not need a lighting plot when someone builds a fireplace out of wax.
The house itself is the 16mm argument: sand-colored stone, brown gables, a small cupola, wrought iron on the balcony, a long black awning, palms against a pale sky. This mansion already looks like it belongs on film.
