Justin and Sierra's Super 8 Wedding at 3 Peaks Ranch in Westcliffe
3 Peaks Ranch sits in Westcliffe, Colorado, under the Wet Mountains. Justin and Sierra were married in a meadow of dry gold grass, with barn doors standing open in the field and Super 8 grain on the stock. The first half of the film is that land. The second half is the dance floor.
Adam Grumbo Wedding Films is an Austin studio. Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio are regular drives, not special exceptions. A Westcliffe weekend is destination work: load analog, trust the peaks, and let the party keep going after the meadow goes dark.

The banner is the wide vow. Justin and Sierra stand small at the far end of a wooden plank aisle. Dark chairs hold the guests. One white cloud sits over a brown peak.

That is the scale of this ranch. Grass, boards, a sky that does most of the work.

The aisle is boards, not a carpet. They run through cured grass toward a low platform with a small white floral. Yellow wildflowers sit along the path. Folding chairs wait empty. The Wet Mountains take the horizon. Super 8 likes an empty set because the grain has somewhere to land.

A pair of weathered barn doors stands in the field like a gate that forgot the barn. Guests find seats. Champagne dresses line the left. Justin waits near a microphone in a black suit. Behind the frame, a mountain wears a stripe of yellow aspen. 3 Peaks Ranch does not pretend this is a chapel. It is a ranch threshold with the Wet Mountains as the wall.

From above, that aspen stripe becomes a floor. Gold leaves, dark pine, long shadows on the trunks. Super 8 grain on a top down forest still reads as a place, not a drone toy. Westcliffe in fall is the reason you haul analog into the mountains.

Then the people fill the same map. Justin and Sierra at the far end of the boards. Guests in two dark arcs. The officiant and a small party hold the platform. Super 8 wide work keeps the couple small so Westcliffe can stay in the cut.

Closer, the doors become a frame. Sierra in white, veil on the grass. Justin in black, paper in hand, microphone up. Blush dresses on the left. A photographer works the right edge. The pine slope and the peak stay in the opening. Nobody built a set. The field already had one.

Then faces. Sierra's lace straps, dark hair, veil lifting. Justin from behind, black jacket, white collar. The officiant in a champagne dress holds a brown folder and smiles. Super 8 keeps the earring and the grain in the same frame.

After the vows the camera leaves the people. Gold aspen ribbons through dark pine. A rounded red brown summit. Tan meadow in front. The Wet Mountains are not filler. They are the same stock that held the ceremony.

Inside, dinner is a silhouette. A long table, glassware, chairs. Two grids of window panes. The peaks still working outside. Analog likes that contrast: black room, bright land.

The room has a joke in it. A guest in a black fedora and a glued on handlebar mustache talks into a silver microphone. A window dumps daylight onto a wooden wall. 3 Peaks Ranch weekends keep this kind of personality. Super 8 does not tidy a toast.

Then the hats. Indoor night. Blue and teal light. Sierra in a white gown and a sequined cowboy hat. Justin in a vest with a hand on her back. Stone, beams, another cowboy hat in the crowd. The meadow was the first reel. The dance floor is the second half of the story.
