Lauren and Davey’s Mountainside Wedding in Crested Butte
Crested Butte is a bowl of rock and weather. The ridges stack. The sky takes half the frame. Lauren and Davey used all of that. The ceremony site was built for this day, on the mountain, with nothing between the vows and the range.
Adam Grumbo Wedding Films is an Austin studio. Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio stay on the calendar. Colorado is the destination version of the same brief: arrive early, learn the light, and let the land carry the story.

The site sits empty first. Wooden chairs, cowhide in the aisle, a floral arch facing forest and a hazy line of peaks. Nobody inherited a patio and hoped the mountain would cooperate.

Pull in on the arch. White flowers on timber, a stone platform, trees, then the range. That is the altar.

Then the mountain without anyone in it. Peak, meadow, a hard blue sky. The film has to leave room for that.

Lauren walks the aisle in the veil. Guests stand. A photographer kneels. The altar and the peaks wait at the far end.

After the vows, the meadow becomes a diamond. Lauren at bat. Davey pitching. The wedding party in black, fielding in the grass with the range behind them.

Then the party takes the field. Champagne across gold grass, black dresses, white flowers, a cheer that does not need a ballroom.

Night here is not a black backdrop. It is stars over the treeline. Under The Sky Rentals put canvas on the meadow, and the dark above them was the most amazing night sky we have filmed. Stay out for it.
