Northstar Gatherings Wedding Film in Idaho Springs
Northstar Gatherings sits on a ridge above Idaho Springs, Colorado. The ceremony deck looks at a valley of pine and snow on the far peaks. This film is the mountain first, then two people on it.
Adam Grumbo Wedding Films is an Austin studio. Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio stay on the calendar. Idaho Springs is the destination version of the same brief. Arrive early. Learn the light. Let the range take half the frame.

The banner is the two of them walking into the last light. Pine on the left. Sun in the middle. Hands. That is Northstar Gatherings.

The ceremony is a white chuppah on a wooden deck, string lights overhead, guests in rows, the Idaho Springs mountains doing the rest.

The drive in is the first cut. Switchbacks through pine. A dirt road that does not pretend it is a parking lot.

Inside, the tables are already a film. Ghost chairs, peach and pink, glass catching mountain light at Northstar Gatherings.

On the deck: a bottle, snow on the far peaks. Colorado does not hide from a detail shot.

Pull back and she is small on the cliff. Gown, rock, snow on the range. Destination work looks like this when the weekend is in Idaho Springs.

Then the hands. From behind. Buttons on the gown. A white shirt. Trees and late light. Close work a mountain film owes the people who hired it.

Tight on her looking at him. Veil. White suit. The hillside in haze. An aisle with someone else is not the couple. This is.

Officiant between them. She in a strapless gown. He in a cream jacket and a kippah. The range still in the sky.

Paper goods with a map: Idaho Springs, Evergreen, Golden. The weekend is a place, not a ballroom.

The dress hangs in a black-framed window. Pine on the slope. Getting ready with the Colorado forest already in the room.

She looks back and laughs. Tight. No mountain required. Faces still have to win cuts.

Vows into a mic. Veil. Cream suit. Snow on the peaks behind the rail. Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio stay on the calendar. A ridge in Idaho Springs is the same assignment with more weather.

Wide enough that they stay small in a clearing. Aspen, pine, a valley. The land at Northstar Gatherings is not a backdrop.

The hora is the second half. Chairs in the air. String lights. Phones up. A mountain deck in Colorado can still throw a party.

They stand apart on the rock, facing each other, pine and a hazy range. Wide couple, same frame.

Dance floor on the boards. Guests, a kippah in the foreground, mountains still in the shot. Reception does not mean you leave Idaho Springs.

Tight on him. Cream jacket, green tie, yellow boutonniere, a quiet smile at her. Ceremony faces from Austin, Dallas, Houston, or San Antonio still have to land here.

They laugh in the circle. Hands. Guests around them. This is the joy the wide shots cannot hold alone.

Dusk. Two silhouettes. Pine. A pale sky. The kiss is implied. The trees do the frame.

Close dance. His hand at her waist. Buttons down the back. String lights over Northstar Gatherings. End on two people, not only the vista.

If you are planning a wedding in Austin, we are based here. Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio are regular work. If the day is at Northstar Gatherings, in Idaho Springs, or anywhere the land is the point, we will meet you there.
We welcome everyone. Straight couples, LGBTQ+ couples, interfaith families, a ridge day with a chuppah and a dance floor: if you want a film that feels like the place you chose, we would be honored to make it.
